Mr.Yanping Lei, the Curator of Fujian Yutian Ancient Jade Museum,and His Companions Came to XOM for Inter-Museum Exchange

This morning, the Curator of Fujian Yutian Ancient Jade Museum,and His Companions came to XOM for Inter-Museum Exchange. The staff of our museum showed Mr.Lei around and delivered him a detailed explanation.
At first,Mr. Lei and his companions visited the postcard exhibition of Mr. Samaranch, the inscription statue of Perpetual Pace and the boxing statue. Then they entered the four exhibition halls of the museum.
Mr.Lei was impressed by the rich Olympic collections in the museum, and especially highly appreciated the Heaven Jade from Yangtze river,which was also the guarding treasure of XOM.
He said the concise design , abundant exhibitions and fun experience items not only could make general citizens have a more clear understanding on the history of the Olympic Games and the stories behind, but also could promote the sense of participation and meanwhile improve the public’s awareness of affection for sports.
During the visit, Mr. Lei also had a deep and detailed understanding of the design concept, display arrangement, function divisions, service concept, social education, cultural and creative product development of Xiamen Olympic museum.
Mr. Lei and his companions highly praised the work of Xiamen Olympic museum , and looked forward to have more opportunities to learn from and communicate with each other in the future. He also spoke highly of the achievements of XOM in inheriting the Olympic culture, and expressed his admiration for Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu, the curator of XOM.
