On Oct. 20^th, Deputy Director of Bureau of Recreation and Sports of Siming District, Guo Yinfang inspected the museum.

The Vice curator of the museum, Wu Yun briefly introduced the activities held in the Cross-strait Culture Industries Fair Xiamen Olympic Museum venue days ago. She said that the museum had held successively 6 sessions of the fair with different highlights separately. This year three special exhibitions were under way, Samaranch Postcards Exhibition, International Sports Collections Exhibition and Exhibition of the Previous Olympic Posters, all of which were their first shows. Guo showed great interest in the three and inquired lots about the progress. Accompanied by Wu, Guo visited the exhibits in the main hall and Youth Olympic Special Exhibition specially held in line with the first National Youth Sports Meeting ongoing. Guo admired the richness of  the collections, the elegancy of the display design and the uniqueness of the museum building design. At the same time, she praised that Xiamen Olympic Museum Venue, a a new spotlight, did add to the cultural richness of the Fair. She hoped the museum should use well of its own advantages and the Olympic resources to further contribute to the Olympic cultures and spirits. The Vice Curator showed her gratitude on behalf of the museum to the government and hoped that more support from the government would be given to the museum and smooth its Olympic course.
