On Oct. 20^th, Vice President of AIBA, Wu Di, and Vice President of New Hope Group with other guests visited the museum.

Accompanied by the vice curator, Wu Yun, the crew appreciated the Samaranch Postcards exhibition, the International Sports Collection Exhibition, and other main halls. Meanwhile, Wu briefly introduced the background of the four museums specially created and built by Dr. Ching-kuo Wu, Xiamen Olympic Museum, Tianjin D. Olympic Museum, Samaranch Memorial and Nanjing Olympic Museum. She praised his devotion to the Olympic course, who regarded the Olympic Movement as his whole-life belief and pursuits and would follow the course till the end of life. Wu and Wang admired his contributions and suggested that the popularization of the Olympic spirits would eventually benefit the offspring and advocated more people like Dr. Wu to contribute to the development of the Olympic course.

At the end of the visit, Wang sent his own calligraphy work to the museum and Wu presented on behalf of the Chinese Boxing Association President, Li Qiang, the Shadow Puppet artwork as a gift. Wu Yun on behalf of the museum’s curator accepted the donations and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to them.
