100 Parents and Children Pay a Visit to XOM

On the morning of May 5th, a group of special guests arrive at XOM—100 parents with their children. It is beneficial to enhance communications and mutual understanding between two generations for parents to bring children to the museum for promoting Olympic ideals and knowledge of the Olympic Movement.
At 9:00 am, with the parents and teachers’ guidance, the children enter the museum in an orderly manner. First of all, all parents and kids watch Olympic cartoons themed with Fuwa. The kids love the characters of the cartoon very much. After that, the group visit each hall guided by narrators. During the visit, not only the kids show strong interest, the parents also ask narrators about Olympic knowledge and historical background of these collectibles. Parents comment that their Olympic knowledge is enriched through the trip, which would help them answer Olympic-related questions for children in future.
In the Olympic gallery, the children are scrambling to step into the boxing ring to feel the boxing movement. Wearing slightly larger mittens, each kid feels the charm of boxing.
At the end of the journey, the whole group takes a picture with Xiangyun torch in front of the Heaven Jade from Yangzi River. Everybody seems to have a nice time. They say that this trip not only brings them joy, but also passes them a lot of Olympic knowledge. It is a meaningful trip for both parents and children.
