Recently, the Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Working Committee of Fujian Provincial People’s Congress have been conducting an investigation and research on sports industry. This morning, Wang Yu Sheng, Provincial People’s Congress Standing Committee Member, Director of Education, Science, Culture and Public Health Working Committee, together with his research team pay a visit to XOM for inspection and investigation. The Deputy Curator Wuyun receives them personally.

Ms. Wuyun first makes a brief introduction of museum’s tourist reception, Olympic education, science education and other aspects in the past three years to Director Wang. Then Ms. Wuyun shows the research team each hall inside. Ms. Wuyun introduces the Olympic history and valuable collectibles displayed in the museum in details, such as ancient and modern Olympic games, story of Houbin, Olympic Fou, heaven jade from Yangzi River, Tai Chi Sculpture, IOC member badges, previous Olympic torches, medals, etc. Director Wang listens attentively and asks questions at times. Ms. Wuyun makes a detailed explanation accordingly.

The one-hour trip ends soon. Director Wang gives high praises and evaluation for Curator Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu, who has been putting money and effort into the museum for years. At the same time, Director Wang also gives some valuable suggestions to museum’s future work. He hopes that XOM should play out its advantages, make up its deficiencies, better disseminate Olympic culture and promote Olympic spirit, serve the guests, particularly teenagers. Ms. Wuyun expresses thanks for Director Wang’s opinions and advices.
