Holding Hands With Olympics and Experiencing Olympic Spirit -- Social Practice Activities Of Jiayu Kindergarten

 Through Olympic culture tourchildren knew about the Olympic philosophy of "faster, higher, stronger" and were inspired to keep the mental attitude of "vigor, continuously enterprising, transcending oneself" . They had close contact with Olympic spirit and cultureshared the rich history of the Olympicsand felt its charm and prosperous.



        Xiamen Jiayu Kindergarten Children’s Olympic Cultural Tour

 

On the morning of April 11, nearly 600 children from 4 branches of Xiamen Jiayu Kindergarten had a study tour in Xiamen Olympic museum under the guidance of their teachers. The Olympic culture tour not only expanded and enriched the learning space for children, but also served as a real practice for children's education in the social field.


Happy journey

The children gathered in front of the museum early with their innocent smile. They lined up and entered the museum in an orderly way.

 

During the visit, the children stared at the various exhibits earnestly and put forwarded their own ideas when listening to the introduction of the narrator.Just like walking into a time tunnel, they started their historical journey from the ancient Olympics to the modern Olympics. 


 

They watched Olympic movies to feel the charm of the Olympics.

Children were attracted by the abundant Olympic exhibits in the museum.


They were looking at their favorite mascots.

 

 


 

The joy of sharing the collection knowledge. 




As the Chinese saying goes: "It is better to travel ten thousand miles than to read ten thousand books." The travel to Xiamen Olympic museum increased the children's knowledge and broadened their horizons. In practice, children learned the Olympic  history closely and felt the infinite charm of the Olympic culture.  The experience inspired the children’s feeling to love sports and protect the cultural relics, as well as their interest and enthusiasm for the Olympic Games. In the meantime, listening to the inspirational stories behind the collections, they learned to be more positive to gain their achievement in life.
