Da Hai Shen Si, the Curator of Japanese JSC Memorial Sports Museum Visited our Museum

On March 4th, Da Hai Shen Si, the curator of Japanese JSC Memorial Sports Museum, and his companionS visit our museum.


Vice curator Wu first introduced the history of our museum, daily operation, collection management, culture exchanges, youth education, the launch of exhibitions and activities,etc. Then leading by Wu, Da Hai Shen Si visited international sports collections and Samaranch postcard exhibition, where they saw many collections from all over the wrold, including badges, medals, China, Plates, cultural goods,etc. They are amazed at the rich collections in our musuem which as Da Hai Shen Si pointed out would contribute a lot to Chinese culture and sports conmmunication with the world. As for those more than 200 pieces of postcard being exhibited, they thought they are so precious. Written by Samaranch during his presidency at IOC, those postcards recorded the long and tired journey for Olympic Movement and mean a lot to the inherientence of Olympic spirits and values. Following that, they visited our main halls on the second floor.


After finish visiting, Da Hai Shen Si said the rich collections in our museum would help a lot to the pomotion of Olympic values ans spirits. And he also expressed his heartfelt admiration to Mr Ching-Kuo Wu for he has been doing so much for the promotion of Olympic movement. He suggested that two museums should make more exchanges to contribute to the development of Olympic Movement, to which vice curator Wu expressed his agreement and she welcome more Japanese to visit our museum.
