April 11, 2012 – IOC Member Mr. Gerhard Heiberg led a group visiting the museum for communication.
Ms. Yun Wu, the deputy director of the museum, received and led Mr. Heiberg visiting every exhibition halls, meanwhile, introduced relevant information about the museum of its opening for the 4 years. Mr. Heiberg spoke highly of the splendid building that Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu designed by himself and admired for Dr. Wu’s rich Olympic collections on display during his 20-year Olympic career. Mr. Heiberg stated that the museum played an active role for spreading Olympic spirit and culture in China even around the world. Finally, Mr. Heiberg expressed his best wishes for the museum and hoped it continue to strive for disseminating Olympic culture and spirit.
Ms. Wu appreciated Mr. Heiberg a lot for his visiting.
