On March 14, 2026, the event themed "Sports Empower Public Welfare, Green Vitality Boosts Rural Revitalization, and Cheer for the International Cross-Country Race" was held at the Baobab Base of Sanshow Mountain, Tong'an District, Xiamen. As a supporting organization, Xiamen Olympic Museum took part in this event.

The 2026 War Horse Xiamen (Tong'an) Cross-Country Race officially kicked off, with the race course passing through Sanshow Mountain.

Centered on the Baobab Base, this event deeply integrated the passionate atmosphere of an international competition with popular science and culture, attracting hundreds of sports enthusiasts and parent-child families to participate and jointly witness the harmonious beauty of sports and nature.

The opening ceremony featured artistic performances, rope skipping and other activities, creating a strong national fitness atmosphere for the race and composing a wonderful chapter of harmonious coexistence between sports and nature.

With excellent viewing spots at the event site, participants experienced speed and passion up close, cheered for athletes from all over the world, and witnessed glorious moments!
