On the morning of February 21, 2025, Hu Jiarong, Deputy Director of the Xiamen Municipal Committee for the Well-being of the Next Generation, along with Li Yuhua (Deputy Secretary-General), Cheng Changjian (Deputy Secretary-General), and Yang Yong (Director of the Secretariat), led a delegation to conduct an investigation at our museum, which serves as an education base of the Xiamen Care Alliance. The purpose of this investigation is to better leverage the positive role of the Care Alliance Education Base in youth education, and to create a favorable environment and conditions for the comprehensive and healthy growth of young people.
During the visit, Hu Jiarong, Li Yuhua, Cheng Changjian, and Yang Yong held a workshop with Ms. Wu Yun, Deputy Director of our museum. The workshop reviewed the overall work performance of the Xiamen Olympic Museum as a Care Alliance Education Base in 2024, analyzed existing problems and challenges, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the construction, management, and development of the education practice base in the future. Additionally, the delegation and the museum discussed matters related to the base’s participation in the "China Five-Virtue Education Hall" — a care center for young people.
Hu Jiarong and his colleagues commended the museum for its contributions as a Xiamen Care Alliance Education Base, as well as its efforts in youth education and science popularization activities. Our museum will continue to strive for excellence, and further fulfill its functions as a base in areas such as youth education, science popularization, and care-oriented activities.
