On October 7, 2025, the Collection Research Group Meeting of the Olympic Museums Network (OMN) was held. Ms. Wu Yun, the deputy curator of Xiamen Olympic Museum, along with museum staff, participated in this online conference.

The conference mainly focused on topics such as the operation of museum collections and innovative applications within the museum. For instance, themes including the collection digitization project, "Guardians of the Spirit: New Material Challenges in the Preservation of Olympic Heritage", and the safety issues of museum collections were shared. These discussions provided new ideas for museums to promote their own innovative practices, enhance professional standards, and expand international perspectives.

Approved by the International Olympic Committee and the Chinese Olympic Committee, Xiamen Olympic Museum is the first Olympic - themed museum in China. It is also one of the 37 members of the Olympic Museums Network. As an independent international non - profit public welfare institution and a national third - level museum, it was painstakingly planned, designed, and established over many years by Mr. Wu Ching - kuo, an IOC member and a world - renowned architecture expert, who also serves as the museum's curator. The museum houses a rich collection of over 11,000 Olympic - related cultural relics, including Olympic torches, medals, stamps, badges, commemorative coins, mascots, etc. Its mission is to inherit Olympic culture, promote the Olympic spirit, and enable more people to understand, experience, and share the history and glory of the Olympics.
