Xiamen Olympic Museum Holds a Lecture on Fire Safety

March 27, 2012- A fire safety lecture themed on “Cherish life, Stay away from fire disaster” was held in the lecture room of Xiamen Olympic Museum. Shuangcan Sun, the instructor from Fujian Fire Safety Propaganda Centre, gave a meaningful lecture to the staff at the museum.
Recently, several fire disasters took place across Fujian Province. It came out that the incorrect precautionary measures and people’s weak fire safety sense were the major incentives. Through exemplifying various fire disasters, instructor Sun introduced the importance of fire safety to protect lives and promote harmonious life in the process of urbanization, as well as explained the serious consequence of ignoring it. Many photos taken from the fire disaster scene were also showed to the spectators, and the tragic scenes shocked everyone heavily.
Then, Mr. Sun introduced how to correctly use the fire safety instrument, and instructed the audiences on spot. During the lecture, Mr. Sun used vivid words and body language to convey a positive influence to the spectators to enhance our fire safety sense.
Thank for the lecture, the fire safety sense and the self rescue capacity of the staff at the museum were highly improved.
