On May 30, 2009, Xiamen Women’s Federation and Xiamen Children Teenagers’ Fund have organized various kinds of fun activities for children in Xiamen to celebrate the upcoming International Children ’s Day in Olympic Tennis Centre, in collaboration with Xiamen Olympic Museum.

On the opening ceremony, children from different schools presented wonderful performances, such as, taekwondo, pavan and ballet, which received a big hand from the audience.

After the performance, the children joined in various fun activities. Besides, they also paid a visit to Xiamen Olympic Museum, under the guidance of the teachers and the working staff, which provided them a very meaningful Olympic experience. The children have benefited a lot from this visit. Not only did they learn lots of Olympic knowledge, but they have further experienced the Olympic spirit and culture.
