On May 28th, Senior Two students of Xin Nan Secondary School carry out the social practice in XOM. Under the narrators’ guidance, they first visit the main exhibition rooms on the second floor. All students are very attentive when narrators are introducing the origin of ancient Olympics, its development, characteristics and modern Olympic games’ revival, development, current status and future prospect. After a systematic explanation of the history of Olympics, students all have received a comprehensive and systematic understanding of Olympic games from ancient times to the present. Narrators also make a clear explanation of valuable collections exhibited in the museum, thus students could know other sides of Olympics from these collectibles.

After visiting the main exhibition rooms, students come to experience the boxing movement, take photos with Xiangyun torch and try the 4D on-line games in groups. As the newest equipment in XOM, shooting, basketball, bowling, race and other 10 sports as well as puzzle games can be played. Students show great interest and fall over each other to take a try.

A morning’s Olympic experience ends quickly, students express that this visit is very fruitful and they have a new recognition of Olympics.
