Dozens of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools have come to XOM for Olympic culture experience since this spring. Today, XOM ushers in students from Bin Bei Primary School. With the teachers’ guidance, students rank in neat ranks to enter the museum in an orderly manner. Today’s visit is one of the primary extracurricular activities for students in spring. They cherish the chance and are very earnest and attentive during the process. Some pupils keep asking questions like “where is the Olympic flame from”, or “when will the next Olympic Games be held?” Narrators answer each question patiently. What makes the children most exciting and glad is having pictures with Xiangyun torch and stepping into the boxing ring. When taking a photo, students all vie to hold the torch and wear Beijing Olympics Medals. Given the limited time, students couldn’t take photos one by one but only in groups. Nevertheless, these students are still content and happy, and who wear the medals are more delighted. Through the tour, students know more about Olympics. Though they may not remember all, those real stories of Olympic champions would leave them a deep impression, such as Hou Bin (three Paralympic Games high jump gold medallist), Wangnan (three Olympic Games table tennis champion), Usain Bolt, etc. The athletes’ spirit of fearing no difficulties and striving for success will motivate the students forever. Teachers are satisfied with Museum staff’s hospitality. They say that the trip is meaningful to students’ study and life in future.
