On August 8^th, 2010, the second anniversary of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, Xiamen Olympic museum welcomed some guests of boxing team to celebrate the meaningful day.

As the Curator of XOM, Dr. Ching-kuo, Wu, is holding the position of AIBA’ s President, the museum has a rich collection of Boxing Memorabilia and pictures on boxing developing progress, as the 2007 Chicago Boxing Statue, boxing medals, commemorative album and so forth, which were perfectly catering to the interests of boxing team.

The students experienced with great delight on the Boxing Ring, posing for photographs and commemorating the important day when the Chinese boxers won the first boxing medal for China. Moreover, they were very excited and eager to watch the women boxing matches taken on 2012 London Olympics after hearing the news that women boxing will be included as official Olympic events in 2012 London Games, and hope Chinese women boxers would perform well in the competition.

After visit, all the students and teachers took part in a reading text on the Olympic knowledge, in which the winner was presented a gift as their wonderful memories of Olympic experience at the museum.
