Organized by the XMTV, a group of migrant children spent an action-packed summer camp at the museum by experiencing the Olympic passion.

The children got a close contact with the Olympic collections as Beijing Olympic medals, “auspicious torch” signed by the IOC President Jacques Rogge and IOC Honorary President Samaranch, Olympic Fou and the IOC badges, stepping on the Olympic podium just like the champion. Learning the Olympic history and events, they joyfully acquired lots of Olympic knowledge that’s never been known.

Deputy Curator Wu said, in the XMTV interview, as an important Science and Education Base, Xiamen Olympic Museum provides a better place of understanding the Olympics not given in the text books for the youth. Moreover, the number of visitors, especially students from all parts of the country has been increasing.
