This afternoon, the President of Agricultural Bank of China, Xiamen Branch, paid a visit to the Xiamen Olympic Museum and was warmly received by the Curator of XOM, Dr. C.K. Wu, who was also the member of IOC and President of AIBA.

Dr. C.K. Wu himself gave the honorable guests a tour around the museum, detailing the thought-provoking stories behind each Olympic Memorabilia ranging from ancient Olympics to modern Olympics, summer and winter Olympics, from the outstanding athletes to the president of IOC, the Olympic torches and medals and so forth. Seeing the meritorious achievements that China has gained on the gold medal tables ranking from the third to top since the latest Olympic Games, the president observed: “the promotion of sports has been made steady progress in China, and we are expecting that our athletes will do a good job at 2012 London Olympic Games as they did at the previous Games.”

Dr. C.K. Wu presented the president with his book “Love for China”. President Zhu indicated that China’s sports cause can’t get so far without the constant efforts of the national elites in sports, like Dr. C.K. Wu, whose contributions to the exchange and corporation between two sides, especially in the field of sports were highly appreciated by the guests. Dr. C.K. Wu also indicated that people on both sides are Chinese and he will do his utmost to work for the cross-straits exchange and corporation in sports.
