This morning, family tours from Shish came to experience the Olympic excitement at the XOM.

 

Under the showing of guide, the children spent a wonderful time appreciating the glorious Olympic memorabilia as the 2008 Beijing Olympic medals, ‘Auspicious torch’, Fou, Olympic Awards dresses and the past Olympic torches. Provided by the creating course of 2008 Beijing Olympic medals, designing inspiration of ‘Auspicious torch’, particularly the scientific knowledge used in the Olympic collections, most of the children learned information of the Olympic treasures and so relished the Olympic learning as to ask questions referred to the world sports with great curiosity.

 

Some of the children said that they were so excited and impressed by the ever-close Olympic experience at the museum by seeing the authentic Olympic torches, medals and each of the Olympic relics. Many parents indicated that the experience was a big yield of the Olympic knowledge for the children, who were exposed to the Olympic culture and Olympic scientific knowledge in a more vivid way, which pregnant with great meaning to their coming study and life. They also hoped to visit the museum more often with the children if time permitted.
