2024 is the 16th anniversary of the founding of Xiamen Olympic Museum. In the past 16 years, we have received hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world and carried out inter-museum communication continuously.

The museum was awarded the National Third Grade Museum, National AAA Grade Scenic Spot, National Excellent Non-State-owned Museum, National Excellent Science Education Base, etc. In October 2023,"Sports Planet", the Environment and Sports Exhibition to welcome Paris 2024 and In December 2023, the "One Family Across the Straits", the joint exhibition of non-state-owned museums in Fujian Province hosted by the Cultural Relics Bureau of Fujian Province were held in the museum.Various kinds of exhibitions and activities have been organized with the support and help of the friends and fans of the museum.

In order to enrich the cultural and recreational life of employees, the celebration of the 16th anniversary of the founding of Xiamen Olympic Museum was held on January 16th, 2024.

At the event site, our staff and guests were organized by the museum’s labor union to join in a series of activities for the celebration of our 16th anniversary. At the beginning of the activity, Ms. Yun Wu, deputy curator of Xiamen Olympic Museum, on behalf of the Museum and our curator Ching-Kuo Wu, sent New Year's greetings to all of the museum’s staff, friends and volunteers

The activity was kicked off by a song named “The arrival of good luck” by all the staff of the museum, expressing our best wishes to all the guests in the new year.

Then a series of sports games and exercises were held to enhance the cooperation and collaboration between employees, so that they can devote themselves to the Olympic career even better in the following new year.

In the past year, the Xiamen Olympic Museum has also gained a lot from the joint construction with Anxi Chamber of Commerce, Xiamen City College, sports associations and other organizations. Xiamen Olympic Museum recruited college students, retired teachers, and outstanding entrepreneurs, student volunteers to our volunteer team. On the spot, Ms. Yun Wu, deputy curator of Xiamen Olympic Museum, also presented awards to the outstanding volunteers.

Then, Xiamen Olympic Museum and Xiamen Tongyou Culture and Tourism Management Co., Ltd. held a cooperation signing ceremony. In the past year, the two parties have had close and communication on kids study tours and more business was expected in the future.

In the "One Family Across the Strait" exhibition, the museum also received couplet submissions from all walks of life. In the celebration, our deputy curator Ms.Yun Wu also presented the winning certificates to the winners.

As an international Olympic platform, the museum receives valuable collections from all over the world every year. Mr. Wenbin Zhu presented his calligraphy work "One Family Across the Strait" to the Xiamen Olympic Museum for permanent collection. Ms. Yun Wu, deputy curator of the Xiamen Olympic Museum accepted the donation.

At the end, all the participants took a group photo and shared the birthday cake.The activity was not only beneficial to physical health but also great to cultivate team consciousness and spread Olympic spirit.
