“All-Powerful - Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu’s Full Fight” Was Officially Published

Recently, Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu’s new book All-Powerful - Mr.Ching-Kuo Wu’s Full Fight has been officially published in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The book consists of 8 parts and 46 chapters,including the golden decade of International Boxing Federation, running for president of IOC, the dream realizing journey of the Olympic museums, the innovative sport proposition transcending the political barriers, elegant performance shown in Beijing Olympics and so on.  It tells about Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu’s rich experience and achievement during his 30 years’ participation in the Olympic movement, which includes a large number of precious photos and information of his participation in the conferences and activities of IOC,  and in various events and activities during the period he served as president of AIBA,showing Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu’s sincere efforts in promoting the Olympic movement, carrying forward the Olympic spirit, inheriting the Olympic culture, promoting the development of boxing and facilitating sports exchanges across the straits.


Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu has been a member of the International Olympic Committee for more than 30 years since 1988. During this period, besides running between the both sides of the straits and the international sports circle, he spares more effort to engage in global sports affairs.


He was elected as President of the International Boxing Federation in 2006 and actively reformed boxing with innovative and fruitful achievement. He was strongly supported by various countries and won consecutive reappointment for three-terms.


The chairman of the five continents federation co-celebrated the ten years’ leadership of Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu at the 70th anniversary evening party of the International Boxing Federation.


In 2012, he was elected as the executive member of the International Olympic Committee and participated in the planning and decision-making of global sports affairs. During the past 30 years, he took it as his mission to pass on the Olympic culture and established four Olympic museums to promote the human values of sports.

Mr. Ching-Kuo Wu is currently the chairman of the IOC Culture and Olympic Heritage Commission and will continue to promote the sport culture and commit to realize the vision of promoting peace.
