In April，the most comfortable season of Xiamen，Children from Xiahe Kindergarten walked out of classroom and had a joyful study trip in Xiamen Olympic Museum.

Early in the morning, hand in hand , the children lined up in an orderly way and walked into Xiamen Olympic museum under the guidance of the teacher and museum staff. 

Their eyes twinkled with curiosity, and carefully studied the abundant collections inside the museum.

Little knowledge about the Heaven Jade

The Heaven Jade from Yangtze River was also known as the "Wish Stone". At the beginning of foundation of XOM, Mr Ching-Kuo Wu,  a world-renowned architecture expert and the curator of Xiamen Olympic museum, designed the museum according to the ancient Chinese cognition” The sky is round and the earth is square”. In order to preserve the original jade, the water circulation system was designed in the rectangular pool where the original jade was placed, so that the original jade could be immersed in flowing water for a long term. Every year only for around ten days, the sun would shine on the original stone through the circular skylight at the top, presenting a unique soft green light under the combined effect of light and water. Like a sacred light, it cleaned people's hearts. Hence the byname of the Heave Jade was Wish Stone.  Hope the lucky you would see the magical light that was supposed to bring happiness to people.

The children went to the lecture hall and watched the promotional video of the 2016 Rio Olympics. The cartoon of lovely Rio Olympic mascots Vinicius and Tom deeply attracted their attention.

During the outdoor games, the children shared out the work and cooperated with each other,  enhancing their sense of teamwork and strengthening mutual  feelings. They felt the Olympic spirit and culture in a happy atmosphere.

Each collection contained profound meaning, and the games were full of passion . Although the children might be too lilltle to really understand, the seeds of the Olympics have been planted in their small hearts and would bring them a precious impact in their future life.
