On July 6, AIBA President Dr Wu was welcomed by Mr Eduardo Gonzalez, President of the Venezuela National Olympic Committee, who outlined his Olympic team’s preparations for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Impressed by the organisation, Dr Wu wished the athletes all the best in their quest for an Olympic medal, before visiting the Olympic Museum. Home to exclusive memorabilia from the first modern Olympic Games through to Rio 2016, the exhibits include unique documents featuring Venezuela’s greatest ever Olympian boxers.
