During its meeting held in Lausanne on 19 April, the General Assembly of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations (ASOIF) re-elected Francesco Ricci Bitti as its President for another four-year mandate. The Italian has led the organisation since 2013 and is Honorary Life President of the International Tennis Federation (ITF). At the same time, ASOIF Vice-President and President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Dr Ching-Kuo Wu was put forward to serve a second term as ASOIF representative on the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), with the proposal to be formally ratified by the IOC in August.
