On November 27, Li Jianxing and his companions, professors of Taiwan State-run Normal University Visited Our Museum.
As guided by
vice curator Wu, professors visited postcard exhibition of Samaranch, precious
collections of national sports, posters of previous Olympic Games. During their
visits, vice curator Wu also introduced some works we have done to promote
Olympic, such as Youth Olympic education, preservations of sports collections, Sino-foreign cultural and
sports exchanges, Cross-Strait cultural and sports exchanges, of which they spoke highly. Professor
Li also said that he admires Curator Wu Ching-kuo a lot, that he is a very
amazing man who devotes much of his energy to public welfare establishments. He
spared no effort to build four museums within seven years so as to make Olympic
cultures and values known by more people. Among the four museums, Xiamen
Olympic museum is the nearest one to Taiwan and it contributes a lot to the
cultural and sports exchanges across strait.
At the end,
they came up with several valuable suggestions to our museum, such as strengthening works on Youth Olympic education,
media publicity and social resource utilization.
