On March 28, students of Xincun Primary School from Jimei district came to XOM for their extracurricular activity.

XOM aims at educating Olympic culture primarily. The students firstly visited the Olympic collections one by one and watched the Olympic video later on. During visiting, they experienced some Olympic events like boxing. They also took photos with the torch of Beijing Olympic games. After visiting, the students expressed that they had learned much about Olympics. At last, the students experienced the games such as rolling loop, kicking shuttlecock and skipping rope.

‘Green trip’ is the theme of this extracurricular activity. The students organized a volunteer team who picked all the rubbishes into the garbage can before getting home. The students aimed at advocating people protecting environment. In fact, the environment could be better if everyone do one’s best. As is well known, the idea of environment protection had penetrated into Olympics especially in venue building, transportation and network communication.
