Mrs. wu the deputy director received them passionately. She explained to them the curator Mr. wu’s aim of building this museum five years ago and the state of operation of the museum in the period. After that, they visited “international sports exhibition” “xiamen sailing boat around the world exhibition” and all the other main exhibition halls. They had a great impression on the museum thanks to Mrs. wu’s detailed explanation. Mr. chen showed his admiration to Mr. wu’s great contribution to present the abundant collections in Xiamen. These collections are so precious that people can learn more about Olympic culture and Olympic spirit. Meanwhile, they advocated that the youngsters could come to the museum for knowledge since it is good for shaping them to be adventurous and optimistic. They also advised that the collections in the museum could be richer and more innovative to attract visitors. Mrs wu expressed her gratitude to these good advices and emphasized that the museum always lay great emphasize on the youth education. She said “our museum hold the special exhibitions and activities in allusion to the youth every year. We will always continue to play the role of education base to achieve the aim of the museum ‘transmit the Olympic culture and spread the Olympic spirit’ ”.
