Chinese Taipei Delegation of Xiamen 2013 International Marathon Visit Xiamen Olympic Museum

January 4, 2013- Chinese Taipei delegation of Xiamen 2013 international marathon paid a visit to Xiamen Olympic Museum.
Every year, Chinese Taipei would send a delegation of about one hundred members to attend Xiamen international marathon. They were marathon fans from all age groups and from various occupational areas, even some of them continually attended this sport event every year. In the afternoon, led by the explainer of the museum, they visited every exhibition hall, and watched the Photo Exhibition of “Xia Men” Sailing Boat Voyage around the World and the Photo Exhibition of Xiamen International Marathon. And then, IOC Executive Board Member Ching-Kuo Wu, also the founder of the museum, received our guests. They considerably admired Dr. Wu’s great effort on promoting Olympic Movement, spreading Olympic spirit and transmitting Olympic culture by founding three museums in Chinese mainland. They are Xiamen Olympic Museum, Tianjin Dagon Olympic Museum, and Samaranch Memorial. Finally, Dr. Wu wished the guests have good performances in the marathon race the next day.
