Xiamen Municipal Political Consultative Conference Vice Chairman Pan Shijian Leads Faculty from Xiamen University Kindergarten Visiting Xiamen Olympic Museum

December 15, 2012- Mr. Pan Shijian, the vice chairman of Xiamen Municipal Political Consultative Conference, led faculty from Xiamen University Kindergarten watching the photography exhibition of the “Xiamen” sailing boat voyage across the world at Xiamen Olympic Museum.
The “Xiamen” Captain Wei Jun introduced the voyage for the visitors by himself. He represented the eight brave sailors’ experience in the voyage, the beautiful natural scenery, local cultural customs, as well as the hardships and difficulties they met, such as injury, severe cold, loneliness, and so on, nevertheless, they finally succeeded in the voyage of about 23,000 sea miles. After listening to Captain Wei, the visitors were much surprised at what the sailors had adventured, moved by the spirit they revealed, and appraised them as the pride of Xiamen. Our visitors stated that they will learn and spread the spirit of “Xiamen”, using it in the teaching course to teach the children be brave and love exploration from childhood.
