Ms. Yun Wu Attends the 2012 Work Forum of the Caring for the Younger Generation Working Committee

November 27, 2012 - The Education Bases 2012 Work Forum was held in Chen Jia Geng Memorial by the Caring for the Younger Generation Working Committee of Xiamen. The Committee Director Mr. Guo Anmin, the Deputy Directors Mr. Huang Xianglun and Mr. Li Deyuan, and leaders of the relevant education bases, including Xiamen Olympic Museum, attended the meeting.
In the first place, Director Guo made a speech. He summarized the working achievements of education bases in 2012, and then put forward some working suggestions for 2013. In the following time, leaders of education bases proceeded with an extensive discussion, and exchanged for the successful experience on caring for the younger generation’s education. Ms. Yun Wu, the deputy director of Xiamen Olympic Museum, stated that as the first Olympic museum in China, the museum, spreading Olympic spirit, transmitting Olympic culture, was always aimed at the youngster’s Olympic popular science education in the last four years, especially paid more attentions to the vulnerable youngsters. The museum has organized and received tens of the youth groups visiting the museum for free. They were children from the special school, the disaster area of Yushu, Qinghai, Guizhou children welfare association, Xiamen children welfare association, summer camps of the migrant worker’s children and so on. Ms. Wu also said that the museum would continue to take use of its advantage to bear more social responsibilities, and organize more youngsters visiting the museum.
