20 November 2011 – Taiwan delegation to participate in the 27th Xiamen Youth Science and Technology Innovation Contest visited XOM. They were students and faculty from Taiwan-Taichung Mingtai High School, Jinmen Jincheng Middle School, Jinhu Middle School, Lieyu Middle School, etc.

Because most of them were the first time to Xiamen and Xiamen Olympic Museum, they were very curious about the precious Olympic collections displayed in the museum. Led by the guide of the museum, our students studied the development history of Olympic Movement. They not only accessed to the long history and romantic myth of the ancient Olympiad, but also experienced the wonderfulness of modern technology on Olympiad. Besides appreciating the rich Olympic collections, our visitors also had a good time in the interactive areas, like boxing. During the visiting, students also shared their own ideas on Olympics with each other, expressing their great interests in Olympics. While, today’s experience had enriched their Olympic knowledge and helped them understand Olympic science and technology in a large degree.

At the end of the visiting, students respectively picked some Olympic souvenirs, bringing the special Olympic memory to their classmates.
