On the morning of 31^st March, Director of Sports Bureau Chuwei, Deputy Director Wang Zhongshan and Olympic Sports Center Chairman Zhang Zhongming in Jinan City, Shandong Province visit XOM. The Deputy Curator Wuyun receives them and makes the explanation personally.

Five kindergartens from Jiayu Preschool Education Group in Siming District also visit the museum this morning. Entering the gate, Bureau Director Chu says the museum is more vigorous with so many children coming for sightseeing and cultural experience when he notices that the museum is full of kids. Deputy Curator Wuyun explains that it is the peak period of student spring outing, primary and secondary school students often come to the museum for a visit. One of the goals of the museum is to disseminate Olympic scientific knowledge to the adolescents, especially the schoolers, making them understand, experience Olympics and using Olympic spirit for inspiration. Bureau Director Chu expresses high recognition and praise about museum’s work. After that, guided by Deputy Curator Wuyun, Directors of the Bureau visit four main exhibition halls, one century Olympic commemorative stamps exhibition, Olympic calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition and so on. When seeing children on the boxing ring, Director Chu also joins them.

After the trip, Directors of Sports Bureau express their thanks for the museum staff’s warm reception and give some pertinent comments and suggestions to the museum. They hope the museum can do more work in teenagers’ Olympic education. Deputy Curator Wuyun says they will keep focusing on disseminating Olympic culture and promoting Olympic spirit, better serve the guests, particularly teenagers.
