Hou Guilan, the Deputy Mayor of Zhang Jiakou, coming to participate in the 3^rd International Marathon Mayor Forum in Xiamen, paid a visit to the Xiamen Olympic Museum on the afternoon of January, 2, 2011.

Along with the accompanied officials who were the Director of Zhang Jiakou Sports Bureau Liu Baofu and Secretary General Liu Yuning, Hou Guilan was received by the Deputy Curator Wu Yun. The guests were first provided with information, purpose and meaning of Dr. Ching- Kuo Wu founded the Olympic Museum here, as well as the achievements having been achieved in promoting the Olympic Culture and Spirits in public since its opening in 2008. Then they took a visit to the whole exhibits with explanation by Deputy Curator Wu Yun of the background stories and Olympic Spirits treasure behind each Olympic Memorabilia. Hou Guilan also indicated her appreciation on the rich Olympic collections and the efforts XOM museum has made for getting more public involved in sports.
