March 20,2013 Xiamen Olympic Museumhas the honor to be titled “National Science Education Base”.

Xiamen Olympic Museum is a first museum featured on Olympics in China. The museum had been aimed at transmitting Olympic Culture and spreading Olympic Spirit since its opening day in 2008. During these five years, with curator Wu’s great leading, all efforts from the related departments and numberless tourist’s support, the museum had successively won the title of “Siming District Popular Science Education Base”, “Xiamen City Popular Science Education Base”, “Fujian Province Popular Science Education Base” and “National Science Base”.

The museum is pleased with these glories. Meanwhile, as a nonprofit organization, it will fulfill its duty to continue on spreading the Olympic Culture and to make more tourists, especially the youngsters, understand Olympics and experience Olympic technology.
