The Director of Bureau of Cultural Relics Museum Division, Duan yong Came to Xiamen Olympic Museum for Inspection

March 8, the director of Bureau of Cultural Relics Museum Division, Duan yong came to Xiamen Olympic Museum for inspection accompanied by some related department leaders of Xiamen.
Director Duan listened to the detailed report about the construction and management of our museum by the deputy curator. Mr Duan spoke highly of our effort in promoting the Olympic Culture and Spirit. He indicated that Xiamen Olympic Museum is special comparing to other museum, so we should take advantage of the specialty and continue to strengthen the promotion. He also expressed that Xiamen Olympic Museum, as the only Olympic museum in south China, should give play to its social education function, especially in the education of youngsters because Olympic spirit is very important for the youth. Moreover, director Duan demanded our museum not only enriching the exhibition but also communicating with other museum in order to learn from each other in mutual emulation. He promised that he will ask other related department to support our museum, so that our museum can play our role better in promoting Olympic Spirit. The deputy curator Ms Wu showed gratitude to Mr Duan and she expressed that Xiamen Olympic Museum will keep showing its specialty and pay more attention to the education of youngsters about Olympic Culture.
