The Chinese Taipei Delegation of Xiamen 10rh International Marathon Visit XOM

January 6, 2012- The Chinese Taipei delegation of Xiamen 2012 International Marathon visited Xiamen Olympic Museum.

 

Accompanied by the museum curator Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu, who is also the International Olympic Committee Member, the President of International Boxing Association, and a world-renowned architect expert, and deputy curator Ms. Wu Yun, the delegation of about one hundred people, including officers and athletes, visited the museum. Led by the guide at the museum, the visitors were deeply attracted by the introduction about the past, the present and the future of Olympic Movement, as well as, the rich Olympic collections by Curator Wu, and the stories behind them.

 

The visitors also enjoyed the“Photography Exhibition on Xiamen International Marathon”, which was designed to celebrate the New Year and welcome Xiamen 2012 International Marathon. By reviewing the brilliant moments in marathon race, they wished themselves a good performance in the race tomorrow.

 

After the visit, they spoke highly of the museum, and took a group photo with Curator Wu, while, Dr. Wu wished them a good performance in the race tomorrow.

 

As the first Olympic Museum in China, XOM is always dedicated in transmitting Olympic culture and promoting the Cross-strait exchanges on sports culture. It has held many specific exhibitions, which attracted a large number of Taiwan compatriots to the museum.
