16 December 2011 – A group of about 80 cadres from Xiamen Science and Technology Association visited and inspected XOM.

Led by the staff at the museum, the cadres successively visited the lobby, the preface hall, and the four major exhibition halls. In the lobby, they experienced the 4D online sports. While in the first major exhibition hall, after listening to the story of Mr. Hou Bin, the image ambassador of the museum, they all were shocked by this three-time Paralympic champion jumper. They stated that everyone should learn the Olympic spirit shown by Hou Bin, especially the teenagers, because it will help them to shape an active attitude for life and develop a fearless fighting spirit. In addition, the guide of the museum also specially introduced the museum's work on propaganda of Olympic popular science.

At the end of the visiting, the representative cadres spoke highly of Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu for his foundation of this Olympic museum. They also expressed their sincere admiration for Dr. Wu's great efforts on the museum, and his selfless sharing of his 20-year Olympic experience and treasures with all Olympic fans. Besides, they also put forward of some precious comments and suggestions on the museum's daily work, especially on the propaganda of popular science.
