XOM participated in the training course on operation of copyright, trademark and brand authorization of museums in Xiamen

  From November 20th to 23rd, 2019, Xiamen Olympic Museum participated in the training course on operation of copyright, trademark and brand authorization of museums in Xiamen.

  The training was held by Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and lectured by experts in cultural relics,Copyright protection and brand licensing, attended by the leaders and staff of the State-owned and Non-state-owned Museums, Cultural and Sports Bureaus in each districts, Copyright Association, Municipal Association of Cultural and Creative Industries, Municipal Key Cultural Enterprises and Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau, who are in charge of cultural and creative products. Ms. Yun Wu, the deputy curator of Xiamen Olympic Museum, and our colleague in also participated in the training.

  At the opening ceremony, Mr. Tan Ping, Director of China Cultural Heritage Exchange Center, and Ms. Yunli Li, inspector of Xiamen Culture and Tourism Bureau, made speeches respectively.


  On the morning of November 21st, Mr. Ping Tan, Director of China Cultural Heritage Exchange Center, gave a lecture on "Activate cultural heritage resources and create a better life". In the training, he described the trend of cultural innovation development in recent years and development direction of cultural creative products. In the afternoon, Mr. Fei Liang, a lawyer from China Written Works Copyright Society, talked about the IP protection and operation of cultural enterprises, and expounded the protection regulations and matters needing attention for the cultural industry with professional legal knowledge. The lectures are full of valuable ideas and suggestions for the innovation and development of cultural enterprises.


  Xiamen Olympic museum has developed our own cultural and creative products, which the tourists can take home. Since the opening of the XOM in 2008, we have always attached great importance to the system development and management of cultural and creative products.  With the development of society, we are constantly exploring new management concepts, development and business models. Currently the cultural and creative products of XOM cover publications, archives, reproductions and life creative items.
