On October 12, 2011, the 5th 2011 Volunteer Training Programme of XOM officially started.

In the first place, staffs of XOM introduced the necessary basic knowledge and skills of being a volunteer to the participants, after which they were led to a personally practice. Thanks for the practice for hours, volunteers generally grasped the content of the training. In later time, our museum will provide some more practice chances for the volunteers, to help them grow and develop themselves in practice.

After the basic traning course, Ms. Wu Yun, the vice curator of XOM, have a talk with all the volunteers. First of all, Ms. Wu expressed her thanks for their support to our museum, and then she encouraged them to frequently participate in social practices to increase their social experience and skills in solving problems. In addition, Ms. Wu said that XOM will provide more chances for students who would like to voluntarily serve at the museum, and the excellent performers will be awarded the title of "Excellent Volunteer" by the museum.
