On September 19, 2011, the“National Science Day” large square activity is held in Zhongshan Park by Siming District. As an important base for popular science education in Xiamen, XOM takes part in the activity, and propagates Olympic culture to all citizens.

XOM is dedicated in the propaganda of Olympic culture from its opening about three years ago, and it was continuously named as province and city “popular science education base”, for its positive contribution in the spread of Olympic spirit and culture. On the activity scene, many citizens come to the museum's booth to inquire the relevant information, such as the newest exhibitions and activities conducted at the museum recently, while some of them said they had ever visited XOM. And to all the questions, the museum staffs give their answers patiently.
