On Aug 5th 2011, the press conference of ‘China Town 2011 Bing Shang Sheng Dian’ is held in Xiamen China town. XOM’s Vice Curator Miss Wuyun has addressed in the conference. She makes a general introduction of Xiamen Olympic Museum to leaders, news media and the audience as well as sincerely invites them to visit XOM. Miss Wuyun also calls on vast journalists to help promote Olympic culture and spirit so as to make more people know Olympics, especially teenagers.

After that, Olympic champions of figure skating Shen Xue & Zhao Hongbo donate a pair of skates with their autograph to XOM. The museum will maintain a permanent collection and display them to tourists. This pair of skates will also be a permanent witness of their championship at the Winter Olympic Games.
