Children of Xiamen Hafu Kindergarten and Kaixin Kindergarten, accompanied by their parents, spent a joyful day at Xiamen Olympic Museum on March 17 touring with the help of museum staff and some volunteers.

They enjoyed cartoon movies about fuwa before visiting exhibition halls and the Olympic Gallery. Among all Olympic collections, the exquisite designed musical instrument, Olympic Fou, played in the opening ceremony of Beijing Games, attracted interest of most children. The children were explained with patience what is the Olympic Games, the Olympic torch and some other related information of the Olympics. Not alone for children, the parents were also fascinating about the exhibited Olympic memorabilia and arouse their desire to learn about the Olympics.

After the visit, the visitors had an opportunity to take photos with the Olympic torches. Teachers and parents indicated that it was a rejoicing and meaning experience for the children, which was helpful for their learning of Olympic knowledge and the Olympic spirits of unity, mutual assistance, friendship and mutual understanding of other people.
